Welcome Back!

Based on the responses from the spring 2021 worship re-gathering survey, we have updates to worship coming in May and June. We understand that Redlanders have different comfort levels when it comes to a re-opening schedule. Most importantly, we want to be open to how God may be moving us into new directions of doing ministry.

Step 1 Begins Sunday, May 6, 2021

As a first step in our re-opening process, we would like to invite folks worshipping indoors to sing while wearing a mask and give folks at outdoor worship the opportunity to remove their masks while they are situated in their seating space. We are still asking all outdoor worshippers to wear a mask while not in their seating space and moving around before and after worship. These changes are based on our recent survey responses, and churchwide discussion and Q&A with Dr. Daniel Adams, infectious disease specialist. (View the video here).

Step 2 Begins Sunday, May 16, 2021

As a second step in our re-opening process, we are moving worship times to make room for a whole hour of Grace Groups Discipleship meeting time. We will also no longer require a reservation for indoor worship.

New Worship Times:

9:00am     Indoor Worship (no reservation required) and Online Live Stream
10:00am     “The Cure on Campus” - In-Person & Hybrid Grace Groups Discipleship Hour
11:15am     Outdoor Worship (weather permitting) and Online Rebroadcast of 9am Service

Step 3 Begins Sunday, June 6, 2021

As a third step in our re-opening process, we will have “The Cure on Campus” Discipleship Hour for In-person and Hybrid Grace Groups at 10:00am, including Children’s Ministry, Youth, Adults, and RBC 101. We will also begin Virtual Check-In with The Church Center App (download it here).
Starting June 6 and in following current guidance, face masks are optional indoors and outdoors for fully vaccinated people. For non-vaccinated people, masks are strongly recommended, especially where maintaining at least a 6-ft physical distance from those not in your same household is not possible. All persons entering the Preschool and Children’s area are required to wear a face mask. We will revisit this with updated recommendations by June 27.

* Per Montgomery County, and the state of Maryland requirements, our campus is open with restrictions. For congregants and visitors, these restrictions include not coming on campus if you are suffering from symptoms of Covid-19 or have been exposed to the Covid-19 coronavirus.
