Dealing with Depression
with Kevin Freeman
Depression affects many of us, and now is a great time to remember that it is okay to reach out for help. Great help can be sought from professionals, but Psalm 88 reminds us there is a spiritual dimension to depression, and our faith is often the starting point for help. God wants to hear the cries of your heart, and he has given you people to keep you from isolation. Lean on your fellow Christians and your heavenly Father as you pour out your burdens to him. Your pastoral staff would love to help you or help refer you to a trusted, Christian counselor.
