On Monday, March 17, I was in a retail store to make a purchase. While completing the transaction the saleslady asked me if I purchased the merchandise for a special occasion. I stated no, as I was retired, and I would wear this to church services on Sundays. She asked me where I attended and when I advised her Redland Baptist Church she responded she knew where that church was located.

That was my cue to begin the $5 question that Michael Avers challenged us to ask during his sermon on March 16. Therefore, I said I would ask her a question and if she answered correctly, I would give her $5 or I would give her the answer and give her $5. She agreed and I asked the question, and she answered correctly on the second attempt. Then I continued with the five questions/answers that Michael addressed in his sermon.

She began to open up telling me she was Catholic, but she didn't attend regularly. However, she has been having the desire to attend regularly as she feels peace and comfort come over her when she is attending the service and especially while being in prayer. She stated she is now attending classes and will be confirmed in April.

When I returned the first week in April, I gave her a bookmark with Philippians 4:13.
