How can the parable of the Good Samaritan remind us to be good neighbors? Neighbors are determined through proximity and opportunity. If someone is nearby and we can serve or interact with him or her, that person is a neighbor. Instead of asking, "Who is my neighbor?" we should ask, "To whom can I be a neighbor?" The best way to love our neighbors as ourselves is to help them know God's love and the hope found in Christ.
