The first successful Methodist mission among Indian peoples in America was established in 1816 by John Stewart, a missionary to the Wyandotte people in Ohio. Stewart's success can be seen through his hardships. God's strength is made perfect in our weakness. When we lean into our weaknesses, relying on God, we can be used by God to accomplish much.
