Because of expected ice storm on Sunday January 9, only 8:30 worship will take place onsite.

AHG National Day of Service Project

Saturday, October 1 at 9am-1pm

This year, AHG Troop MD1212 is privileged to serve one of our own. New Tenderheart, Libby Bishop's sister, Margaret Bishop. Margaret is a beautiful 10 year old girl who is full of life and love and brings joy wherever she goes. Margaret was born with HIE (Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy), meaning at some point in pregnancy her brain was deprived of blood and oxygen. This "brain injury" has manifested overtime to Cerebral Palsy.  When people ask the Bishops..."what's wrong?" They simply say, "Margaret is just as God intended her to be.  We are so thankful for her and for God trusting us to guide her through this Earthly life."

On October 1, we can serve Margaret by making her new bibs! This multi-troop/community service project is part of our troop's contribution to the AHG National Day of Service. On-site time slots between 9am-1pm will be established to stop by the ROC and sew one or a few of these three-part bibs for this precious daughter of God, or they can be made at home. Individuals with sewing machines or hearts willing to serve will directly bless Margaret.
