Kairos Prison Ministry

Karios Prison Ministry

Next Inside Weekend: November 2-5, 2023

Kairos Prison Ministry International, Inc (Kairos) is a lay-led, interdenominational Christian ministry in which men and women volunteers bring Christ's love and forgiveness to prisoners and their families. By sharing the love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ, Kairos hopes to change hearts, transform lives and impact the world. The Kairos programs take the participants on a journey that demonstrates the love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ. The programs involve a structured model that includes the Weekend experience, followed by guests or participants gathering regularly for accountability, support, and prayer.

There are several ways you may participate and support this Kairos ministry

Participate by Praying. . .Our Greatest Need

Kairos is a worldwide ministry that brings the love of God and the light of Christ into prisons. Many volunteers rally to become the hands and feet of Christ for a group of inmates who come seeking a new way of life. The Team's purposes will be to plant seeds for God, show His unconditional love and grace, and grow the Christian community already established inside the prison walls.  We need your prayers for the success of the mission.

Please pray for:
  • 42 residents for the Weekend
  • The Warden and Staff
  • The Chaplain
  • Support Team
  • Our Host Church
  • That the Will of God be Accomplished

We are seeking 24 hour prayer coverage.  Please sign up for half hour time slots at the table in the Foyer on October 22 or Online.

Participate by Giving

The total costs of an Inside Weekend can be substantial. We are thankful that Redland includes some money in its budget for Kairos! If you would like to donate above and beyond your regular tithes and offerings, please do. Sponsor a Bible for $25 or a cross for $6. Any amount will help.
Checks may be made out to:

  • Preferred size is 11 x 17
  • No stickers, glue, sparkles, etc.

Write letters from God’s family to the inmate expressing God’s love.
